Sneekermeerzicht | Wandelroute
Wandelroute vanuit Terherne langs de oevers van het Sneekermeer en door Friese dorpjes.
Via het eiland van Terherne, ook van Kameleondorp genoemd, wandel je door het dorp en over de Slechte Dijk (afwijkend van wandelknooppuntennetwerk). Hier heb je een prachtig uitzicht over het Sneekermeer [Snitsermar]. Je wandelt langs de Sâltpoel.
Via de oevers van de poelen kom je vanzelf in het dorpje Goingarijp, waar je een klokkenstoel passeert. Dit is een houten stellage met één of meerdere klokken er in.
Door de weilanden wandel je naar Terkaple en weer terug richting Terherne.

Discover the village Lenten. Look at the village where Hielke and Sietse lived.
Sneekermeer
The Sneekermeer (Frisian and official: Snitser Mar) is, of course, known for the Sneekweek, the annual sailing races held on this lake.
Church and bell tower Goïngarijp
The church with the detached bell tower in Goingarijp is once again a gem in the Frisian landscape. The stained glass windows from 1770 are a beautiful attraction for tourists.
