Terherne (Dutch: Terhorne) is, as it were, an island in the Sneekermeer, completely surrounded by water. On one side, you'll find the Sneekermeer, and on the other side, the Terhernster ponds. Due to this central water location, Terherne is an ideal starting point for a water sports vacation. You can enjoy the open water or sail to Sneek.
