Harbor in the Frisian Lake District
Our marina is situated in the beautiful Frisian lake district. From the harbor, you can sail in a few minutes to the Heegermeer or the other way, through the charming village of Woudsend, towards the Slotermeer. Villages such as Heeg, Lemmer, Balk, and Langweer are nearby. Towns such as Sloten, IJlst, Sneek, Stavoren, and Workum are also easily accessible.
Sailing on the largest lakes in Friesland is delightful. Thanks to the numerous aqueducts around Woudsend, you can make extensive uninterrupted boating trips. With your motor yacht, it's also comfortable to navigate through the spacious canals. If you prefer the cozy waterways with your sloop, you can find them nearby, in Gaasterland or around the pools northwest of the Heegermeer and the Fluessen. Even high-speed boating and waterskiing are possible within designated areas on the lakes.
