St. Nicholas Church (Nicolaaskerk) in Stavoren is a protected monument. One of the reasons is that it contains an 18th-century organ. It is a single-nave church with arched windows and a neoclassical entrance. Its small but elegant gable tower houses a bell cast by Hans Falck in 1629. Above it, there is a weather vane in the shape of a mermaid.

The church organ built by the organ builder Wiebe Meyes and his son in 1785 was originally installed in the previous church. When the old church was demolished in 1860 the organ was dismantled and rebuilt in the current church in the following year. The organ was declared a protected monument in 1992.

In the public graveyard at the back of the church there are seven Commonwealth war graves.
