In the village of Rotstergaast there is a wooden bell tower with a four-sided dome roof. As early as 1315, there is a record of there being two chapels in Rotstergaast. One was converted into a church but by 1718 it had fallen into disrepair and was later demolished. The bell tower is first mentioned on a drawing dated 1722. In 1928, a chapel church was built near the graveyard. The bell tower was extensively restored in 1976.
