But the village itself is also worth a visit. Feel the atmosphere during a walk under the lime trees, through one of the most beautiful village streets in Friesland. Langweer even has a small weigh house and a monumental villa: this village has a rich history as the main town of the former municipality of Doniawerstal.
For a cozy terrace, you are also in the right place here: there are plenty of catering establishments in Langweer. And if you then walk out of the center towards Boornzwaag, you are immediately face to face with the water of the Langwarder Wielen.
