In the immediate vicinity of Oudemirdum you will find the Gaasterland forests where it is wonderful to walk. In addition, the only cliffs in the Netherlands are also close to the recreation park! Are you going to the Minserklif, the Oudemirdumerclif or the Roode Klif? Stavoren and Sloten, two of the Eleven Cities, are about a fifteen minute drive from Oudemirdum and are definitely worth a visit!
