For this group accommodation you drive to the north of Friesland, you will find this location between Dokkum and the Lauwersoog National Park. Located on the edge of the village of Engwierum, you look out over the countryside. The house is entirely located on the ground floor and is spacious. In the living room there is a lounge sofa made of scaffolding wood with upholstered cushions in it. In the dining room there is a large square dining table with enough chairs around it. From the dining room you can easily step through the French doors onto the terrace where there are still a number of picnic tables. The kitchen is fully equipped, you cook on a 5-burner gas stove and there is a coffee maker and a small oven, among other things. In the kitchen there is an extra table with six chairs. The house has 7 bedrooms, one of which has a double bed. In addition, there are three bedrooms with bedsteads and three bedrooms with single beds, which have their own sink. There are four bathrooms with shower, toilet and sink. One of the bathrooms has a bathtub! The group accommodation has a spacious garden with various seating areas, loose garden chairs and a Finnish Kota where you can make a fire and sit comfortably together.
Location
The atmospheric guesthouse 'in de Wij' is located in the mini-village of Engwierum, in the far north of Friesland. It is located near the northernmost city of the Frisian Eleven Cities Dokkum. The characteristic Dokkum can be reached by car in fifteen minutes. The Lauwersmeer National Park can also be reached within 5 minutes, where you can enjoy walking, cycling, swimming, experience the silence and spot many special birds. There is no supermarket in Engwierum, for this you drive to cozy Kollum in 10 minutes. Here you will find a number of supermarkets, restaurants and various cozy shops
Special about this accommodation
There is a sauna with a cold plunge pool in the guesthouse, which can be rented per day (or part of a day).
There is a trampoline and a toy car for the children on the field. There is also a herb garden where you can pick from and a Finnish Kota where you can make a fire.
Important to know
We have furnished our guesthouse inside and out with great care and attention and we therefore ask you to treat our belongings with respect. There are also a number of steps up and down the farm. This may be difficult for small children and less mobile guests.
