Visitor centre Mar en Klif has a beautiful, small botanical garden. In the garden, several biotopes from Gaasterland have been laid out. At each biotope you can see the wild plants (and sometimes insects and other animals) that also occur in nature in such an area. Therefore, the garden is also called ‘little Gaasterland’. It is maintained by a group of volunteers from IVN Súdwesthoeke. The garden is freely accessible during opening hours of the visitor centre.
