Oudega is a cozy village situated on the Oudegaaster Brekken.
Due to its location on the Oudegaaster Brekken, Oudega is ideally suited for renting a small (whisper) boat and exploring the Brekken. If you prefer to stay on dry land, you can also take beautiful walks from Oudega, for example through the Pinepoldeer, a meadow bird area just outside the village. In spring, you can even see the 'small three' here: the godwit, lapwing, and redshank!
There is also plenty to see in Oudega, with many streets featuring beautiful historical houses, small bridges, and a charming harbor. Adjacent villages such as Westhem, Blauwhuis, or Sandfirden are also definitely worth visiting!
