The pond chalet and cliff chalet are located in a new part of an existing recreation park in Oudemirdum. Oudemirdum is a cozy village with many restaurants, bicycle rental and the Mar & Klif visitor center is not to be missed. In the immediate vicinity of Oudemirdum you will find the Gaasterland forests where it is wonderful to walk. In addition, the only cliffs in the Netherlands are also close to the recreation park! Are you going to the Minserklif, the Oudemirdumerclif or the Roode Klif? Stavoren and Sloten, two of the Eleven Cities, are about a fifteen minute drive from Oudemirdum and are definitely worth a visit!
