Kuiertocht Folsgare
This circular walk from Folsgare takes you back to the village via the Mieddyk.
"Mieden" are low-lying grasslands that flooded in the winter. They were collectively owned by the farmers from the village. The Mieddyk near Folsgare was constructed in the 12th century and was owned by the church.
A "kuiertocht" is a short walking route. So, it probably won't surprise you that in Frisian, "wandelen" translates to "kuierje". You can easily combine a leisurely stroll with an activity in the area, or choose to embark on another leisurely stroll. An overview of all leisurely strolls can be found here.
