Kuiertocht Makkum
You'll notice it right away when you're there: Makkum is a village with urban allure. The harbor, the lock, and the market square with its many terraces. You'll quickly feel at home here. The route leads through the meadows into the hinterland of Makkum.
Along the water of the Grutte Sylroede, you'll return to the village.
A "kuiertocht" is a short walking route. So, it probably won't surprise you that in Frisian, "wandelen" translates to "kuierje". You can easily combine a leisurely stroll with an activity in the area, or choose to embark on another leisurely stroll. An overview of all leisurely strolls can be found here.
