The Zuidwest Fryslân National Landscape conservation area includes both beautiful forests and the IJsselmeer coast. Hop on a bike and cycle through the rolling countryside of Gaasterland! This 37-kilometre route through a beautiful landscape takes you past local outlets where you can sample and stock up on delicious regional products.

This route is an initiative by the Frisian environmental federation, Friese Milieu Federatie, which works to protect the environment of the region, and Eetbaar Fryslân, an organisation that promotes the consumption of local sustainably grown food.
