Smûk Tent Huske

The tents can accommodate 2 to 4 people and have a beautiful view through a large window of nature, with a wood stove for warmth. They are light and have a lot of character, with a comfortable bed and a bunk bed. There is a toilet with sink in the tent. In the kitchen there is an induction hob for cooking, a coffee perculator and cold water. There is electricity available. It is a unique mix of a house and a tent, where you benefit from the benefits of a tent, such as listening to the sounds of nature, while the bottom is made of wood, so you are not bothered by drafts. In addition, the wood stove provides pleasant warmth. The tent also has beautiful authentic French doors.

A short walk through the landscape between the cows will take you to the jetty at Pier Christiaansloot, where the electric boats and canoes are moored. You walk along this canal to the village of Echtenerbrug/Delfstrahuizen where there is a beach on the Tjeukemeer. From the farm you can easily sail into the beautiful Frisian lake area. Including Sloten, Lemmer and Langweer or across the Tjonger. Discover the unspoilt nature of the Weerribben and the Rottige Meente, a beautiful walking and cycling area. The Orchid Farm is highly recommended, with its butterfly garden, Alpacas and indoor playground for the children. Be sure to visit the town of Lemmer, a cozy center with nice terraces and nice shops. You can reach Leeuwarden in 45 minutes, where you can do more extensive shopping, climb the Oldenhove tower or visit the Nature or Frisian museum.
