Take a look
The museum started small in 1983, but has since grown to become the largest museum in the field of skating.
The Skating Museum is a private institution, boasting the largest collection of skating-related artifacts. The complete history of the Eleven Cities Tour can be found here, with a special Eleven Cities Room dedicated to it. Additionally, the museum houses the world's largest collection of skates and sleds. Visitors can also find all information related to short track skating. Among its treasures are the world's largest skate (6 meters and 11 cm), a frostbitten toe, and details about the winners of all Eleven Cities Tours. While wandering through the museum's 500 square meters, visitors will quickly notice the atmosphere of days gone by. Old workshops, forges, and paint shops revive a unique piece of history, with the development of the clap skate being a highlight. Due to the immense size of the collection, exhibits are regularly rotated. A visit to the Skating Museum is worthwhile for visitors of all ages.
